Jay Leno and Craig Ferguson Rock Their Geriatric ‘Lip Sync Battle’

Former late night hosts, Jay Leno and Craig Ferguson, went head-to-head on Lip Sync Battle Thursday night. The two comedians brought a lot of humor and wisdom to the show, as they were two of the oldest competitors on LSB ever. And not only were they old, their songs were old too.

Jay started it off with a head-banging performance of Sweet’s “Ballroom Blitz” from 1974. Craig followed that up with another hit from the ’70s, “I Wanna Be Sedated” by the Ramones. Craig kept the ’70s theme going with his second song, for which he put on a wig and was a “dancing queen” for his performance of Abba’s “Take a Chance on Me.”

Jay’s second performance went even further back, all the way to the ’60s, as he lip-synced “My World Is Empty Without You” by the Supremes. During the performance, Jay constantly fought with his backup dancers as everyone jockeyed for the front position. After the performance, Craig joked, “I was watching Jay dance with these two beautiful, young black men, I think now America can begin to heal.”

Lip Sync Battle airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. on Spike.
