Jelly Roll announces his new album, 'Beautifully Broken.' When will it be released?
Grammy-nominated and Nashville-native country, pop and rock crossover superstar Jelly Roll's latest studio album, "Beautifully Broken," arrives on Oct. 11, 2024.
The album will represent a similar but more significant impact in roll-out than his 2021 and 2023 releases "Ballads Of The Broken" and "Whitsitt Chapel."
Net profits from each website pre-order of his album will be donated to organizations helping individuals who struggle with mental health and addiction, including military-related groups Folds of Honor and Wounded Warrior Project, the National Alliance on Mental Illness and Shatterproof, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming America's addiction treatment system.
'Beautifully Broken,' the album: What we already know
Previously released 2024 singles "I Am Not Okay," "Liar," "Get By" and "Burning" will be featured on the album.
Notably, ESPN recently chose "Get By" as its 2024 College Football Season anthem, while "Liar" (which premiered at 2024's Academy of Country Music Awards) served as World Wrestling Entertainment's theme song for its recently-completed SummerSlam event — at which the multi-platinum performer appeared as both a performer and guest in-ring competitor.
"I Am Not Okay" debuted as the Music City resident appeared on a May 2024 episode of "The Voice," with a repeat performance on the Howard Stern Show in June. Insofar as "Burning," the ACM, CMA and CMT award-winner debuted it on a recent Jimmy Kimmel show appearance.
Regarding the album, the performer offered the following to the New York Times, related to his art, moving forward, serving a purpose greater than himself:
"(I'm) trying to impact as many people as (I) can while God is giving (me) a platform... I'm looking for songs that have purpose. When I go to put out a song under the name Jelly Roll, I think to myself, Why? Because for the first time in my life, it has nothing to do with a financial decision. I'm well past putting out anything for money. So, now, it really is a why."
'Beautifully Broken,' the tour: What do we already know?
Also, regarding "Beautifully Broken," Jelly Roll's album's title doubles as that of his forthcoming four dozen tour dates between Labor Day and Halloween of 2024.
Among the locales on the Nashville native's most ambitious tour to date include New York City's Madison Square Garden and Los Angeles' Crypto.com Center.
Tour openers include Warren Zeiders, Alexandra Kay, ERNEST, Shaboozey and Allie Colleen.
In related touring news, Jelly Roll has become an international sensation with an even more considerable future worldwide.
Now cleared of the legal entanglements that precluded him from doing so, the award-winner performed in Canada for the first time in St. Catherines, Ontario and Ottawa, Ontario, on July 8 and 9, 2024.
This followed him, in June, being named by the U.S. State Department as U.S. Global Music Ambassador alongside Chuck D, Grace Bowers, BRELAND, Kane Brown, Herbie Hancock, Denyce Graves, Teddy Swims, Justin Tranter, Armani White, and Lainey Wilson.
For the "Save Me" vocalist, being able to tour internationally alongside being a Global Music Ambassador felt "especially meaningful."
