Country music's continuing influence on Nashville's New Year's Eve experience will take on an unprecedented local-to-national flavor as over 50 million single-selling Chattanooga native Kane Brown and Grammy-nominated Nashville native Jelly Roll will headline the CBS-aired festivities from Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park.
The duo are the first of numerous acts who will perform live from downtown Nashville during the New Year's Eve special set to air on Dec. 31 from 8-10 p.m., ET/PT, 10:30 p.m.-1:30 a.m., ET/PT on the CBS and streaming onParamount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on-demand for Paramount+Essential subscribers the day after the special airs).

2024's five-hour broadcast will feature an all-star lineup of performances across multiple time zones, all broadcast from locations across Music City.
Last year's edition of "New Year's Eve Live: Nashville's Big Bash" featured over 50 back-to-back performances from acts, including Lainey Wilson, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Thomas Rhett, Elle King, Grace Bowers and Jackson Dean.
A 75% increase in viewership — equalling nearly eight million homes — viewed the event, making it the highest-rated country music program of 2023.
Over 200,000 local revelers and tourists are expected to attend the event. New Year's Eve has, alongside CMA Fest and 4th of July festivities, has seen tourists spend almost 20 percent more annually in the past five years as the city has welcomed five percent more visitors than before COVID-19's quarantine.

Kane Brown has entertained over 2 million people in arenas and stadiums over the past three years. As well, he's increased his international and multi-genre renown in the past 12 months via "Miles on It," an EDM-meets-country single with producer Marshmello, and "The One (Pero No Como Yo)," a bilingual tropical house-meets-country duet with Regional Mexican Airplay chart-topper Cari?n Leo?n.
Also, alongside his five-year-old single, "Heaven," eight other singles — "Be Like That," "Bury Me in Georgia," "Good as You," "Homesick," "Lose It," "One Thing Right," "Thank God" and "What Ifs" — have achieved the equivalent of over 30 million total sales in the past seven years.
Academy of Country Music and Country Music Association award winner Jelly Roll will be nearly three months removed from the Oct. 11 release of his latest album "Beautifully Broken."
Headlining New Year's Eve will mark an impressive year for the native of Nashville's Antioch neighborhood that has seen him appear on ABC, CBS, NBC and Amazon Prime (often on numerous occasions), testifying before the U.S. Congress in support of the FEND Off Fentanyl Act, plus advertising and television commercials for brands including Dunkin Donuts and Uber.
These accomplishments also include a 56-date nationwide tour and hitting No. 1 on country's radio charts with the Dustin Lynch collaboration "Chevrolet," plus solo chart-topper "Halfway to Hell."
