Jenna Bush Hager Tries to Set Lenny Kravitz Up with Hoda Kotb After They Hold Hands on the “Today” Show
"Well, I know the electric lady if you want her number. She’s right here," Bush Hager said.
Jenna Bush Hager is not giving up her dreams of making a romance between Hoda Kotb and Lenny Kravitz a reality.
A day after performing at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards, where he won the award for best rock video, Kravitz, 60, hit the Today show stage to perform some of his beloved hits, including "I Want to Get Away” and "Fly" with Quavo.
While the Citi Concert Series crowd was excited to see the rocker perform, Kotb, 60, was seemingly the happiest as she held his hand while walking onto the Today plaza.
Bush Hager, 42, later teased Kotb for dressing up in a "cool leather studded suit" for "Lenny Kravitz Day" while discussing the musician on Today with Hoda & Jenna — months after she joked that she would act as their matchmaker.

"Yes, I am," said Kotb. "This is new, this little top. I decided that if you’re going to have Lenny Kravitz on the plaza — who by the way, is he not the epitome of all of the things?"
"He’s so kind and he’s very hot," responded Bush Hager, adding that he's also "talented."
"He’s hot, he’s kind," said Kotb. "He’s got it all. He lives in the Bahamas, he’s barefoot, he makes music, he meditates..."
"I know somebody else that meditates, and wears leather, and doesn’t live in the Bahamas but would like to," interjected Bush Hager, making Kotb smile and laugh.

Bush Hager brought the topic up again when the two spoke with Kravitz before he performed his track "Paralyzed."
"Hoda doesn’t always wear her leather," she said before Kravitz joked, "She thinks she’s slick. I heard her last night! I heard the door open. I was trying to get a nap in… and the light turned on in the closet, and I was missing some pants this morning."
After the crowd cheered, Kotb said, "I snuck in and stole his pants is what he’s saying, basically."
"I know you are in a new chapter. Are you looking for love?" Bush Hager then asked Kravitz, leading him to respond, "That’s interesting… I mean, always," before singing, "Love is all there is."
