Jenna Ortega Sports Glossy Green Pumps for ‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice’ Fan Event in Mexico

Jenna Ortega attended a “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” fan event held yesterday in Naucalpan de Juarez, Mexico. The press tour for the upcoming horror-comedy sequel kicked off this week.
Embracing the dark and spooky color scheme of the film, the “Wednesday” actress popped into a pair of forest green pumps. The silhouette encompassed glossy bluish-green leather uppers, striking pointed toes and stiletto heels. The style is similar to many classic pump silhouettes but receives a modern twist thanks to the shiny construction and unique colorway. The pick matched perfectly with her outfit for the event.
Comparable styles to Ortega’s own can be purchased from brands like Nine West, Pedro, Saint Laurent, Cult Gaia and Ferragamo, just to name a few. Sleek and sophisticated, the pumps are beloved by many stars, given their endless versatility.
Going for a monochrome moment, Ortega was styled in a custom leather dress from Lurline in a forest green hue. The form-fitted style harkens back to the original “Beetlejuice,” making reference to the shrunken heads featured in the film. The molded bodice is fixed with tiny creepy shrunken heads with their mouths sewen shut.
According to Ortega’s stylist, Enrique Melendez, the star’s looks for the press tour are inspired by “the wonderful world of Tim Burton,” who directed the original film and the new reboot. The following day, Ortega was dressed in a custom Vivienne Westwood look featuring grungy black stitching inspired by some of Burton’s biggest hits including “Edward Scissorhands” and “Batman Returns.”
Ortega often elevates herself with height-boosting footwear on and off the red carpet. The “Wednesday” star can regularly be seen on public outings in platform-soled boots and pumps from a range of brands, including Jimmy Choo, Steve Madden and Valentino. Off-duty, she wears thick-soled Dr. Martens platform boots and Adidas sneakers. Ortega is also solidifying her presence in the shoe world, having been named Adidas’ new brand ambassador in Feb. 2023.
