Jenna Ortega Suits Up in Pinstripes for ‘Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice’ New York Photocall with Winona Ryder
Jenna Ortega channeled the titular character in her upcoming film, “Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice,” at a photocall on Saturday in New York.
The actress sported a pinstriped suit reminiscent of Michael Keaton’s costume, selecting a Dolce & Gabbana skirt suit featuring a fitted jacket with a sweetheart neckline. Ortega accessorized with cat-eye shades, geometric earrings and peep-toe platforms, completing her look with multiple rings.

Stylist Enrique Melendez dressed Ortega for the occasion, while hairdresser Bobby Eliot styled her dark tresses straightened. Makeup artist Mélanie Inglessis gave her a ’90s-inspired lip with brown Make Up For Ever liner.
Ortega’s costars Monica Bellucci, Winona Ryder and Catherine O’Hara were also in attendance. Ryder donned a dramatic black coatdress with white buttons, adding on oversized shades. O’Hara, meanwhile, wore a patchwork snakeskin suit.
The sequel to 1988’s “Beetlejuice,” out Sept. 6, follows the Deetz family’s return to Winter River. Ortega plays the teenage daughter of Winona Ryder’s Lydia Deetz.
On Wednesday, Ortega evoked another fan favorite “Beetlejuice” character, Bob, during the sequel’s Mexico fan event. She wore a custom strapless leather dress by Lurline, which featured a molded skull bodice and braided detailing along the skirt.
“Enrique had the brilliant idea to alter our moulded skull motif into something resembling the iconic shrunken heads from Beetlejuice, specifically Bob from the new film,” Lurline founders Sarah and Siham Albinali said in a statement.
“The leather corset and skirt feature subtle Bob shrunken head details, with draped waves that mimic the character’s wrinkled appearance,” they continued. “We added leather cords to accentuate the sewn up mouth and included these on the skirt to bring the look together. Enrique chose a deep teal color to match the Bob character and the Beetlejuice world which also aligns with the soft goth aesthetic we love.”
