Jenni 'JWoww' Farley fires back at publication after confirming son's autism diagnosis
Jenni “JWoww” Farley is upset over how her 2-year-old son’s autism diagnosis was publicized. In an interview with Hollywood Life, the Jersey Shore star revealed that Greyson was recently diagnosed with the developmental disorder, which has impacted his speech and ability to communicate.
“He’s understanding words better, which was his issue. Not that he couldn’t speak, but he would never know what his shoe is or if you said ‘Greyson,’ he actually didn’t even know his name at one point until he was a little over 2,” she told the site. “So now that he’s understanding simple words, he’s come so far.”
In a post on Instagram Wednesday, Farley confirmed that the interview took place and that Greyson is autistic. “He’s also been in early intervention for over 6 months now and doing amazing,” she wrote. “Grey is and will always be my little prince.”
However, she slammed Hollywood Life for how it touted their chat.
“To see his diagnosis come as an ‘exclusive’ to a certain site broke my heart and pissed me [off],” she continued. “In no way would I ever ‘exclusively tell’ some company about my son so he becomes their click bate. His story is too precious and no article could capture that.”
The 32-year-old reality star said the article was supposed to be about her new skincare line, Naturally Woww, and how it’s expanding to a children’s line to honor Greyson and her 4-year-old daughter, Meilani.
“I will be donating some of its profits to autism organizations that help children like my son… because that’s the only message I intend to spread in my sons name… love and acceptance,” she concluded.

Farley’s post was met with support from her MTV co-stars.
“PREACH MAMA! Love you so much and such a shame they did that to you,” Snooki wrote. “Disgusted reality. You’re the best mommy ever! Love you bubby!!!!”
“You are an amazing mother jenni!!!!!” added Pauly D, while Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino commented, “Love you sis.”
“Love you J,” added Deena Cortese. “You’re an amazing mother and Grey is one lucky boy that is going to be just fine!”
Farley has been open about Grey’s journey on Jersey Shore Family Vacation, revealing in an episode this summer that he still wasn’t speaking or understanding words. Earlier this month, she shared a video of a sensory room designed for her little boy.
