Jenni 'JWoww' Farley posts sweet video of her son speaking after revealing his autism diagnosis
Jenni “JWoww” Farley’s son, Greyson, has been diagnosed with autism, and she’s sharing an update about the 2-year-old. Farley posted an Instagram video of Greyson on Saturday, and it’s melting fans’ hearts.
In Farley’s video, Greyson wears an Incredibles costume and repeats the names of various colors after his mom says them. “The way he says Yellow makes my heart explode,” Farley wrote in her Instagram caption.
Plenty of fans commented on Farley’s post to note how sweet the video is and to share their excitement that Greyson is talking. “Awesome to see him using his words,” one person wrote. “YAY, GREYSON!” another commented in all caps.
Last month, Farley confirmed to Hollywood Life that Greyson had been diagnosed with autism (though she slammed the magazine for the way it published the news). “He’s made leaps and bounds when it comes to speech,” she told the outlet. “He’s understanding words better, which was his issue. Not that he couldn’t speak, but he would never know what his shoe is or if you said, ‘Greyson,’ he actually didn’t even know his name at one point until he was a little over 2.”
In an episode of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation that aired in August, Farley talked about her son’s developmental delays. “My bubbe Greyson turned 2, and he still isn’t speaking, and he has therapy three days a week,” she said during the episode. After it aired, she shared an Instagram message thanking fans for their words of support.
It’s evident from her statements and recent Instagram posts that Farley is doing everything she can to make sure her son is getting the best treatment he can. The Jersey Shore star is clearly devoted to her children, and the new video shows just how much she loves Greyson and just how much progress he’s making.
