Jennifer Aniston Shares 'Big News' With Fans in Exciting New Announcement

Jennifer Aniston has "big news" for her fans—and she's excited to share about one of her latest projects.

The Friends star took to Instagram on Tuesday, June 11, to announce that she is a writer, having written a children's book entitled Clydeo Takes a Bite Out of Life.

In a promotional video, she was joined by an animated pooch inspired by her  real-life pet rescue dog of the same name, a character she first introduced via social media in 2021.

The debut children's title will be released on Oct. 1, 2024, and is said to be the first in a series of a four-book deal inked between the Emmy-winning actress, publisher HarperCollins and animation studio Invisible Universe.

“When I decided to partner with Invisible Universe to bring Clydeo to life on social media, I could have never imagined how much joy he would bring to his fans and followers,” Aniston said in a statement. “I could not be more thrilled to be taking Clydeo and his stories to publishing, where he will hopefully inspire children and dog-lovers alike with his adorable journey to find his true passion.”

In addition to the fun read for kids, HarperCollins also shared that plans for the Clydeo series include a cookbook from the owner-dog duo, as well as two “I Can Read!” books for young, beginner readers.

Fans on social media were elated at the news of the Just Go With It star's latest project.

"So precious!!!! ordering!??," one exclaimed, while another agreed, writing, "So excited for this!??."

"She’s an author and an ICON??," a third gushed of the actress.

Clydeo Takes a Bite Out of Life will share its four-legged protagonist’s origin story, as well as the discovery of his special passion for cooking, according to its summary.
