Jennifer Connelly Panhandled in New York City for Movie Role

On The Late Show, Stephen Colbert asked Jennifer Connelly if she did any actual panhandling to get into character as a homeless woman in her new movie Shelter. She did, at Astor Place in downtown New York City, with a camera crew just out of sight. She passed as an actual homeless person for a while, and although some passers-by started to recognize her, there was one woman in particular who really believed her.
