Jennifer Lopez & Ben Affleck Really Want To Get Rid of Their Beverly Hills Estate
Fans might be wondering when Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez will give everyone an update on their marriage, but they might have just sent a signal in a very subtle way. The estranged dynamic duo has made a big real estate move that proves how serious they are to offload their Beverly Hills estate.
The 12-bedroom, 24-bathroom residence was privately on the market beginning in June, but they’ve stepped up that process after the initial sale didn’t attract a buyer. According to Page Six, Lopez and Affleck have officially listed the property publicly, and at a very steep price, $68 million. They bought the home in May 2023 for $60.85 million cast, per TMZ, but will probably lose money on the sale due to improvements, Los Angeles’ mansion tax, and their broker’s fee.

The 38,000-square-foot residence is filled with A-list amenities, inducing a spa with a hair and nail salon, an indoor pickleball court, a cinema, a whiskey lounge, and even a boxing ring. However, the place never felt like home and Lopez and Affleck didn’t seem to vibe with the house. “Ben never liked the house,” a source told People earlier this summer. “It’s too far away from his kids.” Even Lopez had reservations, reportedly describing it as “too big for her.” The property isn’t the only jointly owned item the couple is unloading — they also have their artwork for sale, according to Page Six. That is a strong sign that Lopez and Affleck are liquidating any joint assets ahead of a divorce filing.
Lopez’s pals have revealed to In Touch that the fairytale romance was mostly a red-carpet situation because things were much more difficult behind closed doors. “She wants her fans to see she’s nothing like she’s being portrayed by Team Ben in this breakup,” an insider divulged “When the dust settles and the divorce is final, she’ll get back out on the dating scene and find a new man. The more time goes by, the more she’s healing and realizing that things with Ben weren’t nearly as perfect as she tried to pretend they were.”
J.Lo’s buddies claimed that Affleck “has a pretty miserable side” and while the “Jenny From the Block” singer “never wanted the marriage to end,” she finally realized that “she was the one doing all the work.” Lopez and Affleck have not commented about their apparent split, but the real estate move certainly signals that something major is ahead.
