Jennifer Lopez Wears Christian Dior Ballet Flats for Casual Solo Outing in Los Angeles
More from Footwear News
Jennifer Lopez was out and about in Los Angeles on Oct. 20 showing off a chic French girl aesthetic featuring Christian Dior ballet flats.
Lopez hit the streets wearing a black knit sweater tucked into a pair of cropped tapered trousers. Her top featured a couple of pearl buttons and a short scarf tied at the neck, which evoked a sense of formal elegance.
To complement her clothes, she wore a pair of pointed sunglasses and carried a small quilted purse with a chain strap.
Lopez slipped on a pair of satin Christian Dior ballet flats to round out the ensemble, continuing her all-black look and emphasizing her graceful aesthetic. A part of the brand’s D-joy line, the shoes featured ballerina-style straps intersecting in an ‘X’ shape across the foot and wrapping several times around the ankle.
The shoes were designed with a square toe and stood out with a delicate bow embellishment with a pearl at the center bearing the brand’s CD logo. Additional small details included grosgain accents as well as a ‘C’ and ‘D’ adorning the dangling ankle straps.
Lopez stepped out in the same shoes back in June, when she styled them with a different office-ready look featuring pinstripe pants, a white short-sleeve button-down top and a slender belt.
Lopez is a master of both street style and red carpet style. The multi-hyphenate artist attended the Road to the Golden Globes party at the Toronto International Film Festival in September wearing a Chloé outfit including slouchy over-the-knee boots from the brand.
Just three days before at the festival, she modeled a mirrorball-esque Tamara Ralph dress with silver metallic platform sandals from Dolce & Gabbana. She was promoting her film “Unstoppable,” which premiered at the festival and is slated for a limited theatrical release in December.
