Jeremy Allen White is going from "The Bear" to "The Boss" with a new rock 'n' roll makeover.

The Emmy-winning actor is set to star as rock icon Bruce Springsteen in the upcoming biopic "Deliver Me from Nowhere," which chronicles the making of Springsteen's landmark 1982 album "Nebraska."

In a new photo released by 20th Century Studios, White is nearly unrecognizable in his portrayal of the New Jersey rocker. Wearing a red and blue flannel shirt with a dark blue jacket, the actor's trademark blonde locks are dyed dark brown as he gazes off camera with his hands tucked into his pockets.

Directed by Scott Cooper, "Deliver Me from Nowhere" serves as an adaptation of Warren Zanes' 2023 book "Deliver Me from Nowhere: The Making of Bruce Springsteen's Nebraska," which provides a behind-the-scenes account of the making of the rock classic, including commentary from Springsteen himself.

"Bruce Springsteen's 'Nebraska' has profoundly shaped my artistic vision," Cooper said in a statement. "The album's raw, unvarnished portrayal of life's trials and resilience resonates deeply with me. Our film aims to capture that same spirit, bringing Warren Zanes' compelling narrative of Bruce's life to the screen with authenticity and hope, honoring Bruce's legacy in a transformative cinematic experience."

The film, which is currently in production, is slated to hit theaters in 2025. In addition to White, the drama stars Jeremy Strong, Paul Walter Hauser, Stephen Graham and Johnny Cannizzaro.

Should we tone it down? 'The Bear' is back ... and so is our thirst for Jeremy Allen White.

Recorded on a 4-track recorder in Springsteen's bedroom, "Nebraska" is a haunted acoustic record that followed the singer's Grammy-nominated fifth album "The River." The 10-track LP, which features songs such as "Atlantic City," "Open All Night" and "My Father's House," went on to sell 1 million copies and is considered one of Springsteen's most enduring works.
