Jerry Seinfeld on Hanging Out With President Obama

Superfan

On The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, Jerry Seinfeld opened with some good old-fashioned standup comedy, making him the first ever guest to do a standup set on Colbert’s Late Show. He talked about landing President Barack Obama as a guest on his series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. He had said to one of his producers jokingly, “Why don’t we get the president on the show?” — and it turns out that producer got on the phone, and before he knew it, he was driving around 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue with the commander in chief. Since his show is mostly available online, Colbert asked him if he was big into technology. His answer was very Seinfeldian, especially when it came to talking about the thing he hates most.

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. on CBS.
