Jessica Simpson Gets Emotional After Daughter Maxwell, 12, Leaves Her a Thoughtful Note: 'Be Still Mama's Heart'

Jessica Simpson received a sweet message from her older daughter.
On Monday, Sept. 9, the singer, 44, shared a photo on her Instagram Stories of a handwritten note she received from her daughter Maxwell, 12. "I love you so much and you are the best person I know," read the note, which was nestled in a bouquet of flowers. "And you are wonderwomen [sic]."
"Be still Mama's heart," Simpson wrote across the photo. "Maxwell Drew I love YOU."

Earlier this month, Simpson shared a carousel Instagram post of her three children as they headed back to school. In the snaps, all three kids flashed beaming smiles as they stood by their proud mom.
While Maxwell and Birdie matched in checkered blue skirts, Ace sported a red polo top and beige shorts.
“Maxwell, Ace and Birdie y’all make your Mom beam with smiles and grace!” Simpson wrote in the caption. “Keep on showin’ up for yourselves with each step of the way through this new school year!”
She added, "I’m so very proud of y’all for individually shining your light so that in return others feel the glow. ??.”
In August, Simpson shared a sweet black-and-white photo of her son Ace on Instagram as she celebrated her only son. In the picture, Ace could be seen relaxing on a couch, leaning back with his hands behind his head.
"I’m gonna be a braggin’ Mom for a moment and just say that I have the kindest, most handsome 11yr old son on the planet ????," Simpson wrote in her caption.
"Fun fact: we both find lucky pennies randomly every other week and use them to WIN my scratchers together ????."
"Mama loves you Ace Knute Johnson- OH SO VERY MUCH!!!!!!!!" she ended the sweet dedication.
