Jessie Graff’s Amazing Encore Performance on ‘American Ninja Warrior’
Jessie Graff is by far the most popular contestant of the 2016 American Ninja Warrior season. Her qualifying run of the Los Angeles obstacle course garnered more than 50 million views on the Internet! On Monday, viewers were treated to another exceptional performance as the stuntwoman from California donned her Wonder Woman–inspired outfit one more time.
Graff was among 30 finalists competing in the Los Angeles finals. Of the 30 finalists, only two competitors got past “the Wedge” obstacle, and Graff was one of them. She didn’t just perform well “for a woman” — she outperformed almost all the men.
Graff, being a modest person, said, “I really didn’t think I was gonna make it, so when I landed after that one, I was legitimately shocked and thrilled. And I love being able to surprise myself and do what I thought I wasn’t capable of.”
Graff is the second-highest seed out of Los Angeles, with the first seed going to Josh Levin, who was the only contestant to complete the course.
American Ninja Warrior airs Mondays at 8 p.m on NBC.
