Jimmy Fallon’s generous donation to J.J. Watt’s hurricane relief fund

On The Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon had nothing but love for the heroes of Hurricane Harvey. He noted the generosity of Mattress Mack, a business owner who opened his stores and showrooms to those who needed shelter, as well as a group of people who formed a human chain to save a man from a flooded SUV. Fallon also praised Houston Texans star, J.J. Watt, who has raised $21 million and counting through his nonprofit the Justin J. Watt Foundation.

Fallon said, “I’m proud to say that our show, The Tonight Show, is donating $1 million to J.J.’s fund. Thank you, J.J.”

After the very generous donation, Fallon invited Victoria White, Marquist Taylor, and their choir to sing “Lean on Me.” White and Taylor recently became a viral sensation after a visit to a storm shelter was caught on video where they formed a spontaneous gospel choir to sing to hurricane evacuees.
