Jimmy Fallon's hilarious preview of Trump's Fake News Awards
On The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, we finally got to see the long-awaited Fake News Awards President Trump promised. Or at least Fallon’s version of the awards. Fallon put on his best Trump face and best Trump hair and went after some of Trump’s favorite targets.
The Fake News Awards, those going to the most corrupt & biased of the Mainstream Media, will be presented to the losers on Wednesday, January 17th, rather than this coming Monday. The interest in, and importance of, these awards is far greater than anyone could have anticipated!

The first award, called a “Fakie,” was for Fakest Cable News Network. The winner was, of course, CNN. It also just so happened that CNN was the only nominee. Then it was time to go after some of CNN’s “loser anchors.”
“Jake Tapper? More like Fake Tapper. Boom. Roasted. Next. Wolf Blitzer. Fake news. Fake name. And let’s be honest, probably a fake beard. Roasted. Next. Anderson Cooper, who do you think you are, sexy Mike Pence? Roasted,” Fallon said.
The “awards show” even featured guest presenters first lady Melania Trump (Gina Gershon) and Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos (Rachel Dratch) to present the award for Most Failingest Newspaper. The two nominees were the Washington Post and the New York Times. Fallon immediately jumped in and announced the winner was the Times before throwing the award in the trash.
After speeding through an In Memoriam for former White House staffers (speeded up for time purposes) Trump (Fallon) gave himself an award. Not for the more than 2,000 false or misleading claims he’s allegedly made in the first year of his presidency, but a Lifetime Achievement Award for being “president of the United Shesh.”
Fallon, as Trump, thanked “Fox News, KFC, Diet Coke, golf, McDonald’s, and Fox News.”
