Joan Collins, 91, Embodies Glamour in Metallic Ruffled Dress During Saint Tropez Night Out
Joan Collins appears to be having the kind of summer that Hollywood stars dream about as she lounges on yachts and attends parties in Saint Tropez, France.
While summertime is starting to wind down, the 91-year-old actress seems to be squeezing as much fun—and glamorous looks—out of the season as she can before cooler temperatures prevail. On Tuesday, Aug. 20, the Dynasty star wore a gorgeous metallic ruffled dress while attending an 84th birthday celebration for Italian promoter Massimo Gargia. The dress featured a shallow V-neck and shoulder straps that connected to ruffly short sleeves, which reached down her arms to her elbows. Collins paired the look with a striking silver necklace, dangling earrings and a silver cuff bracelet to match.
Collins was photographed posing with her husband, Percy Gibson, and her younger brother Bill during the party held at Hotel de Paris in Saint Tropez. Gibson matched his wife’s glamorous old Hollywood style with a white silky suit jacket of his own, which he wore over a plain black shirt. Meanwhile, Collins’ brother embraced a more casual look in black pants and a matching jacket, which he wore over a light blue shirt.
Collins has been spending a lot of time in the popular town off the French Riviera of late, as seen in several photos and videos she has shared with her fans on social media. The English actress stunned her Instagram followers last week as she showed off her toned legs while wearing an elegant blue and white swimsuit. It was one of many summery looks she has embraced in recent weeks while enjoying time on a yacht along the French Riviera.
Earlier this month, Collins and Gibson also spent some time with fellow English actress Elizabeth Hurley and Hurley’s 22-year-old son Damian. The photos Collins took with Hurley prompted some fans to draw comparisons between the two women and Benjamin Button, the title character who aged backwards in F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.
