Joe Alwyn Reveals He Cut Emma Stone's Hair in New “Kinds of Kindness” Cast Video (Exclusive)
Emma Stone, Joe Alwyn, Jesse Plemons, Willem Dafoe and more star in director Yorgos Lanthimos' 'Kinds of Kindness'
Emma Stone trusted costar Joe Alwyn enough to let him give her a haircut.
Director Yorgos Lanthimos and the Kinds of Kindness cast answer questions in a new video shared exclusively with PEOPLE. The film becomes available on digital Aug. 27, with behind-the-scenes bonus features and deleted scenes.
One of the questions: What is something fans would be surprised to know about Emma Stone?
"She's very funny," says Mamoudou Athie, adding, "I mean, I guess you could see her movies and assume that, maybe."
Adds Alwyn, 33, with a smile, "She is also trustworthy. I cut her hair, which just means cutting off her ponytail, but even so!" Athie reacts, "Still! That could go bad."
Elsewhere in the video, the stars share their recent acts of kindness, plus how they lightened the mood on set. Says Plemons, 36, in the video, "As dark as some of the subject matter and scenes are, there is really a sense of play and exploration. It feels like some sort of weird summer camp or something."

Kinds of Kindness features three stories: One is about "a man without choice who tries to take control of his own life," the second is on "a policeman who is alarmed that his wife who was missing-at-sea has returned and seems a different person," and finally, "a woman determined to find a specific someone with a special ability who is destined to become a prodigious spiritual leader."
The cast also includes Willem Dafoe, Hong Chau, Margaret Qualley and Hunter Schafer.

"I love Joe," she said in the statement. "We had to do some pretty dark stuff on this one, so it was extremely comforting to be with him because he’s one of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet.”
Kinds of Kindness is on digital Aug. 27, then on Blu-ray and DVD Oct. 8.
