Joe Jonas shares rare photos and videos of life with wife Sophie Turner: 'Started from the bottom now we're here'
Joe Jonas is showering his wife Sophie Turner with love.
The “Cool” singer, 32, took to social media on Friday to share rare photos and videos of the Game of Thrones actress, 26, who just gave birth to the couple’s second child, a girl, earlier this week. Jonas’ post, which he shared on TikTok and Instagram, is set to the tune of his band DNCE’s song “Got Me Good,” and includes images from the couple’s two weddings, as well as videos of the two cuddling in bed and sharing a meal at a restaurant.
Jonas captioned the post, “Started from the bottom now we’re here…I want to see your [love] story.”
Jonas and Turner’s love story began in 2016. They tied the knot legally in Las Vegas in 2019. That same year in July, they had their star-studded wedding in France, which included Turner’s Game of Thrones co-star Maisie Williams and Jonas’ brothers and bandmates.
Fans of the couple, who previously appeared together in the Jonas Brothers’ music video for “What a Man Gotta Do,” gushed over the tribute in the Instagram comments. One joked, “when I was 13 I thought I could marry Joe Jonas. Now I am 26 years old and I only have to accept defeat.” Another added, “Love you JoPhie! Congrats on the new addition to the family! God Bless!”
While Jonas may be the one showering Turner with love at the moment, The Staircase actress recently spoke about falling in love with her now-spouse the very night she met him during a May appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
“I remember he left my apartment, and it may have been the alcohol, but I just wept to my brother. I was like, ‘I love this man so much,’” she recalled. “And I knew. And that was it.”
In March of 2020, she told ELLE that she still feels like she is punching “way above my league” in her relationship with Jonas.
“He’s so handsome, talented, funny, charismatic,” she shared. “I’m really lucky to be with him and have someone like him want to be around me and spend time with me.”
