Christina Ricci Talks 'Yellowjackets' Season 3: "It's Going to Be Even More Shocking... and Brutal"
Yellowjackets ended its second season with a shocker (heavy spoilers at that link) in its present-day timeline as well as a huge development in its 1996 wilderness story (more spoilers at that link), as the members of a high school soccer team do anything they can to survive after a plane crash.
The show’s team has been fairly tight-lipped about what’s to come in season three, though star Christina Ricci told The Hollywood Reporter in June that the new episodes will be “even more shocking and surprising than the previous seasons. It’s definitely going to be brutal. But they also put a lot of comedy into it. So I think it’s just going to be … extremely Yellowjackets-y.”
McHale currently stars in Fox’s comedy Animal Control and hosts the network’s cooking competition Crime Scene Kitchen. He has also recurred on The Bear and will reprise his role of Jeff Winger in Peacock’s Community movie. He is repped by UTA and Ziffren Brittenham.
Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson created Yellowjackets and serve as showrunners alongside Jonathan Lisco. They executive produce with Drew Comins of Creative Engine, Jeff Byrd, Sarah L. Thompson, Ameni Rozsa and Brad Van Arragon. Lionsgate Television produces the series.
