John Krasinki Battles Jimmy Fallon on 'Late Night,' Lip-Sync Style (Video)
Jimmy Fallon hosted a battle for the ages on Tuesday night. And most would say he lost, including Fallon himself. The challenger: John Krasinski from "The Office." The game? Hardcore lip-sync contest.
Well, maybe not "hardcore" considering the first two songs performed were "Don't Cry Out Loud" by Melissa Manchester and "Teenage Dream" by Katy Perry. But as it turns out, Krasinski may actually be better on stage with a fake microphone than he is at pushing paper in a cubicle.

The second round of the battle, the two took on old-school hip-hop. While Fallon brought out a solid Das Efx piece, Krasinski once again one-upped him by performing both sides of Run DMC's "Peter Piper." Ultimately it was Krasinki's Boyz II Men that brought the house down and ended the competition.
Fallon's house band, The Roots, were clearly rooting for the home team. But even they got a kick out of the battle's finale, when the two contestants got closer than the Jim and Pam characters on Krasinski's sitcom. Watch the video below.
Krasinski stars in the final two episodes of "The Office" air this Thursday and next Thursday on NBC.
