John Legend and Chrissy Teigen Announce Another New Member of the Family

John Legend and Chrissy Teigen have welcomed another new addition to their evergrowing brood, according to the cookbook author's latest Instagram update.

Snuck within the slides of a weekly recap posted on Monday, Jun 3, was a video showing youngest daughter Esti, 16 months, lifting a hairless cat in a tie-dye collar off the couch and toddling past a pair of cat trees and a robotic litter box with the creature.

Teigen ended her breakdown of the "little week recap" by casually adding, "Also got a cat oh my god," but after the family took in an ailing family member's bird, named Audrey, in what is likely a pet-sitting to permanent adoption pipeline, we have a feeling she can handle anything.

Fans are eager to learn the feline's name, which Teigen did not elect to share in the introduction, with one exclaiming, "OMG WHAT IS THE CAT’S NAME?????" and another more calmly noting, "can’t wait to find out what you named it."

While a few argued that it was "not a cat" due to its hairlessness—with a few even bringing in a quote from Friends to back themselves up—many found the new addition to be incredibly cute, with one commenting, "Awww a hairless one," and another calling it their "dopamine boost of the day."

"All so precious," someone else said the round of updates, "but little Esti with the cat melts your heart ??."

"That’s one good kitty," others wrote, pointing out how calm it remained while the little girl scooped it off of the furniture and ran off with it in her arms.

It's certainly nice to see everyone doing well after Teigen scared fans with a neck brace last month!
