SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — On Tuesday, Love Letters Music Festival — Salt Lake City’s newest music festival — announced its 2024 lineup.

Love Letters is set to take place across three days and three nights — from Friday, Sept. 27 through Sunday, Sept. 29 — in downtown Salt Lake’s Library Square. The festival is the work of S&S Presents, which is the same group behind the Kilby Block Party and a couple local twilight concert series.

Billy Eusterman, marketing director of S&S Presents, told ABC4.com that the new festival is “a celebration of our love,” meaning the love shared by both fans and artists.

“This is a festival we have been wanting to put together for a long time,” Eusterman said. “It gives us an opportunity to explore a bit of a different side of music than we might for a festival like Kilby Block Party.”

Some of the biggest names performing at Love Letters include Joji, Quinn XCII, Ashnikko, Jeremy Zucker and Nessa Barrett.

Eusterman said that Love Letters differs from Kilby Block Party — their “flagship festival” — on a few levels. He said S&S Presents is aiming to have festivals that “are really special for a few different fans” as opposed to festivals that are made to appeal to everyone.

Eusterman said several of the artists performing at the new festival have worked with S&S in the past, and that “having them all come together under one festival and be able to celebrate their music is very special.”

“These are artists that have very dedicated and enthusiastic fan bases and it is so exciting to see how much it means to them to be able to see some of their favorite artists perform at the same place,” Eusterman said.

Attendees will have several food and drink options to choose from at the festival, including local vendors, as well as art activations.
