In the March premiere of Millie Bobby Brown‘s new movie Damsel, her then-fiancé Jake Bongiovi supported her alongside his parents, Jon Bon Jovi and Dorothea Hurley. The moment, which surely was just another family outing for them, proved they’d become one big happy family.

Now, shortly after Brown and Bongiovi tied the knot, the “Livin’ on a Prayer” singer proved that once again by gushing over their nuptials.

“They’re great,” said Bon Jovi in an appearance on BBC’s The One Show, per People. “They’re absolutely fantastic. It was a very small family wedding, and the bride looked gorgeous, and Jake is happy as can be.”

And while fans of Brown and Bongiovi will surely freak out over this confirmation, sources had already revealed their nuptials over the weekend of May 17.

“It was a very low-key, romantic affair with their closest family with them as they said their vows,” an insider told People. According to the source, they’re also planning a larger, ceremony later this year.

Unsurprisingly, this isn’t the first time Bon Jovi has gushed about his son and Brown’s connection. “Millie’s wonderful,” he said during an appearance on SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live show following their engagement in May 2023. “Her whole family is great, really great. Jake is very, very happy.”

At the time, the singer also defended their decision to get engaged despite being only 20 (Bongiovi) and 19 years old (Brown).

“I don’t know if age matters,” Bon Jovi said. “You know, if you find the right partner and you grow together — I think that would be my advice, really, is growing together is wise.” The musician continued, “I think that all my kids have found the people that they think they can grow together with, and we like them all.”

As a reminder, Bon Jovi has a love story for the books himself, he and Hurley have been married since 1989.

Looks like Brown and Bongiovi have quite an example to look up to!
