Jon Bon Jovi surprises Ultra Miami with Armin van Buuren guest spot on 'Keep the Faith'
Jon Bon Jovi kept the faith — at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami.
Bon Jovi surprised fans March 24 when he joined Armin van Buuren as the deejay played his EDM cover of the Bon Jovi classic "Keep the Faith."
“I remember being a little kid and buying this guy’s album,” said van Buuren when introducing the Sayreville native. "Please welcome to the stage, the legend, Mr. Jon Bon Jovi!"
"What up, Ulta!" Bon Jovi screamed.
The rocker performed a lip-synch for the track's introduction and was in the deejay booth with van Buuren by the song drop. The original "Keep the Faith" was released by Bon Jovi in 1992.
The Dutch-born van Buuren is also a record producer whose music aligns with the trance world of electronic dance.
"Can’t actually believe this happened!" said van Buuren after the performance.

The group Bon Jovi recently released the single "Legendary." A new album, titled "Forever," is scheduled to be released on Friday, June 7.
The band will be featured on the four-part Hulu documentary, “Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story,” which premieres Friday, April 26.
"I was really touched so I wanted to come and see it live," said Bon Jovi of the "Keep the Faith" remix on the Ultra livestream.
"Armin grew up listening to Bon Jovi records, and now he's doing his own thing and incorporating our song into it," added Bon Jovi, who has a home in Palm Beach, Florida. "It keeps those songs going — it's cool."
