Jon Gosselin says that son Collin will soon live with him but 4 of his kids don't talk to him
Jon Gosselin, former star of Jon & Kate Plus Eight, will soon be living with two of his children.
The reality star said Tuesday at the Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills, where he was part of WE tv’s “Real Love: Relationship Reality TV’s Past, Present & Future” panel discussion, that he’s been awarded temporary sole custody of his 14-year-old son, Collin. The teen will join sister Hannah, who’s also 14, at Gosselin’s home, while most of his other children live with mom Kate Gosselin, who had a bitter divorce from Gosselin in 2009.
“Hannah lives with me full-time, and then Collin,” Gosselin said. “Leah, Alexis, Joel and Aaden, they’re with their mom, and then the twins are 18, so they’re adults.”

Collin isn’t moving in with Gosselin just yet, though. For the past two years, he’s been in a program to help children with special needs that his mom selected for him, and he plans to move in with his dad when he leaves later this year.
“It was just easier for the transition,” Gosselin said. “So it’d be easier for one parent to just transition him home, and he wanted to live with me, so it was easier to do it that way.”
The disc jockey added that he’s “excited to have a male around” because he’s “surrounded by females.”
Gosselin requested that Collin live with him in court papers filed Oct. 24. His ex-wife asked to postpone a hearing on the matter and, after her request was denied, reportedly missed the hearing altogether.
Gosselin acknowledged that his relationship with some of his other children is a struggle.
“The other four aren’t talking to me, but they’re talking to Hannah,” he said. “It’s what the kids want to do. If they don’t want to talk to me, that’s fine, as long as they keep up with their sibling connections.”
No surprise that Gosselin isn’t talking to his former wife either.
“It’s too much right now,” he said.
