It’s been over two decades since Joni Mitchell headlined a concert in Los Angeles, but now fans will get to see the legendary Canadian singer-songwriter take the stage at the iconic Hollywood Bowl along with a few special guests this fall. After announcing the October shows earlier this year, Mitchell added an additional show due to fan demand. Since tickets went on sale in February, the first night officially sold out online, with fans hoping to attend the rare concerts looking to resale sites for available seats.

Joni Mitchell Hollywood Bowl Dates: Oct. 19 – 20, 2024
The back-to-back Hollywood Bowl shows take place on Oct. 19 and 20, respectively, with Mitchell joined by the Joni Jam and fellow songwriter Brandi Carlile. “It’s really happening!” Carlile wrote on Instagram earlier this year after the concerts were announced.
Tickets for Mitchell’s Hollywood Bowl shows have mostly sold out on Ticketmaster, with stubs popping up on resale sites for both dates. Fans can also find cheaper tickets for Sunday’s show for around $124 per ticket on the retailer’s website.

While front-row seats at Mitchell’s Bowl shows don’t come cheap, fans can still find stubs around $193 each for the Q section of the venue on night one, fees included, on resale marketplace TicketNetwork. Gametime also has Joni Mitchell Hollywood Bowl tickets for an all-in price of $179 a ticket in the Q section for the Oct. 19 show. This is among the cheapest prices we’ve seen for the first night of Mitchell’s Los Angeles concert. Sunday’s show, meantime, is on sale for as low as $116 per ticket, all-in, for seats near the back of the venue in section X. We also spotted tickets in section E for as low as $260+.

Viagogo currently has tickets to see Joni Mitchell’s first night at the Bowl starting as low as $192 per ticket. That price gets you seats in the Q section of the venue, which is closer to the back of the Hollywood Bowl but still offers an unobstructed view of the stage. If you want closer seats, the site also has F section tickets for around $324 per person.

Featuring live performances and 40 unreleased tracks, Mitchell’s Archives, Vol. 4 is now available to order online on CD and vinyl.
Ahead of her Hollywood Bowl dates, Mitchell will release the latest installment in her Archives series on Oct. 4 with Vol. 4, a collection of late-Seventies cuts on CD and vinyl. Check out the box set’s track list, which includes “Intro to Coyote” and several more deep cuts.
Earlier this year, Mitchell made her performance debut at the 66th annual Grammy Awards singing “Both Sides Now” alongside Carlile, where Mitchell also took home a Grammy for Best Folk Album for Joni Mitchell at Newport. Last year, the artist played her first ticketed show in 20 years with the Joni Jam at the Gorge Amphitheater in Washington.
