Jordan Peele Reveals Details of Next Psychological Horror Film 'Him'
Jordan Peele is already gearing up to release another psychological horror film. Titled Him, the Peel-produced movie is set to arrive next year and stars Marlon Wayans.
Announced recently via Universal and Peele's Monkeypaw Productions, The Hollywood Reporter shared that Justin Tipping is directin the film which originally had a working title of GOAT. Wayans is slated to play a legendary quarterback who is tasked with training a rising young athlete (played by Tyriq Withers). Withers' character later goes to train at the aging athlete's isolated compound. Alongside Withers and Wayans also stars Julia Fox, Tim Heidecker, Jim Jefferies, Guapdad 4000 and Tierra Whack. Bot Guapdad 4000 and Tierra Whack are making their feature film debuts with Him. The script is penned by Limetown sci-fi series creators Zack Akers and Skip Bronkie. Joining the production team are Ian Cooper, Win Rosenfeld and Jamal Watson for Monkeypaw.
The film follows Peele's signature landmark horror films like Nope, Get Out and Candyman. In a statement, Universal reassures fans that like the previous films, Him promises to deliver a "blood-chilling journey into the inner sanctum of fame, power and the pursuit of excellence at any cost." Him premieres on September 19, 2025 in theaters.
