Jordin Sparks visited Polly Pocket’s Airbnb yesterday in Littleton, Mass.
The “One Step at a Time” singer channeled her inner Polly Pocket in a pair of bright purple mules. The slip-on style featured bright textural suede uppers, pointed open toes and 2 to 3-inch block heels. The footwear choice was a striking one, mirroring the look of similar plastic styles the beloved miniature doll once wore back in her heyday.
Sparks’ footwear is comparable to styles from top brands like Vince Camuto, Nine West, The Attico and Ralph Lauren, just to name a few. While the shoe pick was more summer-centric than anything, the suede uppers evoked fall vibes. The open-toe detailing was easy breezy, furthering those summer vibes, while the slip-on composition made for easy on and off.
Pretty in purple, the “No Air” songstress sported a cropped lavender jacket featuring a scalloped hem and bedazzled heart trim. Layered underneath, Sparks wore a cropped white tank top in a bedazzled style to match her equally crystalized light-wash high-waisted denim. Going matchy-matchy, Sparks accessorized with a purple headband and shiny dangling earrings.
Sparks’ performance and event footwear often include neutral, metallic or vibrantly colored pumps, peep-toe and platform heels from a range of brands, including Giuseppe Zanotti and Christian Louboutin, In fact, the “American Idol” winner memorably wore a set of Louboutin’s green cork-heeled platform sandals throughout her music video for “One Step At A Time.” Sparks also wears colorful Reebok and Nike sneakers while off-duty.
