Jordin Sparks attended a Grammy Camp Lunch and Learn event held in Los Angeles on July 18.
The “No Air” singer donned a pair of Louis Vuitton sandals. The summer-ready pair was made of a cream-colored textile featuring the designer brand’s logo throughout set in tight rows depicted in a contrasting tan hue, making the sandals instantly recognizable. Gold “LV” hardware was fixed to the velcro straps at the front of the shoe.
Said straps were looped through more gold hardware, keeping the star’s sandals in place. Thick platform-like soles made of non-slip rubber finished off the designer style, offering Sparks a subtle boost in height.
Louis Vuitton features an array of similar silhouettes, namely their Sunset Flat sandal. Said model comes in platform and mule styles boasting a variety of unique patterns and prints. The singer’s pair imparted a casual vibe, making her ensemble appear more relaxed and laid-back. Sandal or otherwise, platform styles are beloved by many celebrities thanks to their height-boosting abilities.
Keeping the casual vibes going, the “Tattoo” singer donned a distressed denim jacket in an oversized style, layered over a cropped white graphic tee featuring metallic gold lettering across the front. On the bottom, Sparks opted for simple black leggings, a closet staple for many. On the accessories front, the performer wore a gold choker necklace and large matching gold hoops. The gold jewelry she wore complimented the gold accents found in her footwear.
Sparks’ performance and event footwear often include neutral, metallic or vibrantly colored pumps, peep-toe and platform heels from a range of brands, including Giuseppe Zanotti and Christian Louboutin, In fact, the “American Idol” winner memorably wore a set of Louboutin’s green cork-heeled platform sandals throughout her music video for “One Step At A Time.” Sparks also wears colorful Reebok and Nike sneakers while off-duty.
