Julianne Moore Is 'Bursting With Pride' as She Shares Rare Photos of Grown Daughter for Celebratory Reason
Julianne Moore celebrated a major milestone moment in her family by sharing some rare photos of her daughter, Liv, with her friends and social media followers.
As the May December star revealed in a June 11 Instagram post, her youngest child is now officially a college graduate. Liv, 22, wore Northwestern University’s purple gown, black cap and white tassel for the ceremony, at which she was photographed holding a banner for the English department. She beamed at the camera while seated amongst her fellow graduates and later held a champagne bottle aloft as she posed with friends.
Additional photos included in The Kids Are All Right actress’ post showed the new graduate getting ready for the big event and, later, posing in her cap and gown beside her older brother, Caleb. In one photo, Moore’s husband, Bart Freundlich, wrapped his arms around his wife and daughter as they all smiled at the camera. In another snapshot, the family of four took a photo together while standing on a bridge over the Chicago River.
“This smart, wonderful, beautiful and insightful young woman graduated from @northwesternu," Moore raved in her Instagram caption. “We are bursting with pride @livfreundlich - congratulations on your accomplishment #wildcat. We love love love you. ????????????????????????????.”
Several of the Boogie Nights actress’ friends in Hollywood congratulated Liv on her accomplishment as they left comments on the post.
“Yay Liv!!!!!” Michael J. Fox wrote.
“Congratulations, Liv. Go Wildcats!!!!??????,” Rita Wilson cheered.
“Major congratulations. What a great moment. ????,” Elizabeth Perkins wrote as other celebrities like Uzo Aduba and Chelsea Handler also left congratulatory comments for the new graduate.
Meanwhile, fans who commented on the post couldn’t help but notice how much the photos showed Liv looking like her parents.
“In so many pictures i can definitely see that Liv looks a lot like her dad, but then like in this picture she looks like your twin,” one fan wrote.
“Looks just like her mama ??,” another fan said.
“[O]h my goodness, she looks just like you!!????,” one Instagram user exclaimed, adding, “Congratulations!”
