‘Jungle Boy’ Jack Perry Turns On HOOK After Loss To SANADA At AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door
‘Jungle Boy’ Jack Perry came up short against SANADA at Forbidden Door and he ultimately took out his frustrations on HOOK.
SANADA successfully defended the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship against Jack Perry at Forbidden Door, picking up the win after a Shining Wizard and a moonsault. Perry looked to be hurt after the match and HOOK tried to help him up on the ramp, but Perry leveled him with a clothesline. Perry picked up HOOK’s FTW title and stared at it for a moment before leaving.
After the replay, Excalibur announced that Taz had stormed away from the commentary table in response to what had just transpired.

IWGP World Heavyweight Championship: SANADA (c) vs. “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry (with HOOK)
Jack Perry and SANADA square off. Perry sends SANADA to the outside and dives onto him. SANADA briefly takes control, but Perry fires up. SANADA goes for the Paradise Lock and traps Perry. The champion hits a big boot. Perry responds with a dropkick. Perry levels SANADA with a lariat and hits a Tiger Driver. Perry and SANADA trade stiff chops. The challenger gets a two count with a backslide, SANADA counters a crucifix, but Perry reverses it into the Skull End.
SANADA reaches the ropes to break the hold. The champion dumps Perry with a TKO for a two count. Perry spikes SANADA with a reverse hurricanrana. SANADA goes for the Skull End, but Perry reverses into a pin attempt. SANADA hits a Shining Wizard for a two count. A moonsault earns SANADA the win.
Winner and still IWGP World Heavyweight Champion: SANADA
HOOK and Perry walk up the ramp. Perry turns on HOOK, as he drops the FTW Champion with a lariat out of nowhere. Perry briefly holds the title before he puts it down and walks away.
