Junior Brown returns to Nashville for two nights at Station Inn
Eclectic country guitarist and songwriter Junior Brown returns to Nashville this week for a two-night run at the celebrated Station Inn.
Brown — a 70-year-old Texas player known for his “Guit-Steel” guitar, an double-necked instrument combining electric picking with lap steel — performs Wednesday and Thursday inside the sought-after Gulch club. Tickets to see the so-called "American Original" cost $25; music kicks off at 8 p.m. For more ticket information, visit stationinn.com.
Country faithful likely recognize Brown for his one-of-a-kind "Guit-Steel" playing and string of 1990s hits, including "Highway Patrol," CMA Award-winning "My Wife Thinks You're Dead" and "Better Call Saul," a tune tied to the hit drama of the same name.
Those unable to catch Brown at Station Inn can tune-in Friday night when he steps into the Grand Ole Opry circle alongside a lineup including Darius Rucker, Ashley Cooke, Riders in the Sky and more.
