How Justin Bartha’s Shaved Head Almost Screwed Up ‘National Treasure’

Justin Bartha shared with Stephen Colbert on The Late Show about his first big film role: “I had to call the most powerful producer of all time and tell him that I was the dumbest actor of all time.”

Bartha landed a role in National Treasure, and after filming principal photography, he, on a whim, decided to shave his head. There’s only one catch: He had to film reshoots on the movie in a week and a half. Bartha called Jerry Bruckheimer, the high-powered producer of National Treasure, and begged forgiveness.

Luckily, there was a not-so-cool fix for Bartha’s ’do. The actor had to wear a wig that resembled his previous hairstyle.
