Justin Bieber's new album is 'all about the experience of being Justin Bieber'

Justin Bieber dropped his new single, “What Do You Mean?,” on Friday, and combined with his top-10 smash “Where R Ü Now,” a club-ready collab with EDM masters Diplo and Skrillex, it’s safe to say Bieber’s next collection will veer further away from his “Baby” roots.

The Biebs, 21, is now looking to dig deep with some of his most confessional tracks ever. “There’s some personal stuff and some ballads,” a source tells EW about the album, due out in November. “There’s some spoken-word moments with him literally talking about what he’s going through in his life. It’s all about the experience of being Justin Bieber.”

Earlier this summer Bieber spoke about the record with Ryan Seacrest and said, “I get in my head a lot and I get kind of depressed because I want it to work so badly. I want people to love it. I want to inspire people. Sometimes I wonder, ‘Is this good enough? Is this the direction I want to go?”‘
