Justin Bieber calls Laura Ingraham's Nipsey Hussle comments on Fox News 'absolutely disgusting'

Justin Bieber wants Laura Ingraham to go off the air because of the comments she made about late rapper Nipsey Hussle.

Ingraham spoke about Hussle’s public memorial service, attended by thousands, on her show, The Ingraham Angle, the day after it took place. In the segment about Hussle, who was shot and killed outside his L.A. clothing store on March 31, Ingraham played the song “FDT,” which includes the line “F*** Donald Trump” in the chorus. The song is actually by rapper YG and a version of it features Hussle.

Ingraham called the line about Trump a “very creative refrain.” She added, “The chorus that goes on and on, is that related to lowest unemployment ever, basically, for African-Americans?”

Bieber joined backlash over the comments Thursday by reposting a photo of Ingraham laughing on her show. The caption described her behavior as “absolutely disgusting.”

“How dare you laugh in the face of a person who has passed on,” the message read. “Doesn’t matter who it is. But disrespecting someone’s who was a pillar in the community and did right by people? Did you not think about the family who just lost a love one and now have to see you mock him on national television It’s absurd and you should be fired period.”

Yahoo Entertainment has reached out to Fox News for comment.

Since Ingraham shared her take on the late rapper, celebrities including Snoop Dogg, T.I., The Game and Saturday Night Live’s Leslie Jones, have spoken out against her. Singer Tank started a petition calling for Ingraham to be fired, which more than 44,000 people had signed, as of Thursday.

Hussle’s death was widely mourned by fans and artists alike. Aside from his music, he was recognized for his philanthropy and for reinvesting in his South Central L.A. neighborhood. In fact, he owned Marathon Clothing, the store he was outside of when he was shot.

He had a meeting with city officials scheduled for the day after his death to help reduce gang violence.

TMZ reports that Hussle’s plan to establish a foundation to help students in the area will be carried out by his family.
