Justin Combs Appears On ‘Power Book II: Ghost’ As 50 Cent Continues To Mock Diddy
Justin Combs’ appearance in the latest episode of Power Book II: Ghost has left fans confused, as Combs’ father, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, has been incessantly trolled by Power executive producer 50 Cent amid allegations of physical abuse and sexual assault.
On the show’s fourth episode of its current season, Justin Combs, who plays a college student attending fictional college Stansfield, briefly interacts with the show’s protagonist Tariq St. Patrick (played by Michael Rainey Jr.) on campus, a sighting that left many viewers perplexed due to Fif’s mockery of his father.
In response, a number of fans took to social media to share their reaction to Combs’ Power Book II cameo, expressing their disbelief that he would appear on the show given 50’s apparent disdain for Diddy.
“50 Cent why the hell is one of Diddy sons in this episode?,” one social media user wrote in a Power fan group. “I was like wtf is he doing here.” Other users noted that the fourth season of Power Book II: Ghost, particularly the scene featuring Combs, was shot well before Fif began to publicly ridicule Diddy, and that he had previously appeared on the show.
Another sentiment expressed was that Diddy’s actions should not affect his son’s prospects for employment and career advancement. “Kids are off limits. He is not his father,” one fan of the show wrote. “He deserves to have a job and live like anyone else. We all have to eat.”
Commenters also noted that Power Book II: Ghost actress and R&B star Mary J. Blige is Justin’s godmother, as the decades-long friendship between Blige and Justin’s mother, Misa Hylton Brim, is well-documented.
Justin Combs isn’t the only member of Diddy’s family that has appeared in the Power universe. Quincy Brown, Combs’ stepson, was cast in a recurring role as Crown Camacho in the popular Power spinoff Power Book III: Raising Kanan. However, his character was killed off in 2022 during the show’s second season, more than a year prior to the string of allegations against Diddy surfaced.
