Justin Timberlake Breaks Silence Days After DWI Arrest
Justin Timberlake addressed the elephant in the room during his latest concert performance.
While making a stop in Chicago as part of his Forget Tomorrow World Tour on Friday, June 21, the NSYNC alum made his first public comments about his recent legal woes, after being arrested in the Hamptons earlier in the week.
As seen in footage from Friday night's show, Timberlake looked emotional as he addressed the crowd, reminding his fans of all the "ups and downs" they've been through together over the years.
"It's been a tough week," he then admitted, while his fans cheered with support.
"But you're here, and I'm here," the 10-time Grammy winner told the crowd, adding, "Nothing can change this moment right now."

"I know sometimes I'm hard to love," Timberlake continued, appearing visibly moved by the fans' cheers. "But you keep on loving me and I love you right back."
"Thank you so much," he said before blowing a kiss to the audience and wiping away tears.
In case you missed it, Timberlake, 43, found himself in trouble while driving in Sag Harbor after a night out with friends in the early morning hours of Tuesday, June 18 when he was pulled over by police shortly after midnight.
Alleged to be driving while intoxicated, the singer was taken into police custody, where he remained overnight before being arraigned and released later that morning.
A court date has been set for July 26, where Timberlake's legal team will be "vigorously defending" the "Mirrors" singer against the DWI allegations, according to his lawyer, Edward Burke Jr.
In the meantime, Timberlake will be continuing on with the tour, starting with another show in Chicago on Saturday, June 22.
