Justin Timberlake Postpones Show Due to Injury: ‘So Disappointed’
Fans in Newark, New Jersey, will have to hold onto the tickets to tonight’s Justin Timberlake show and wait for a rescheduled date. Just hours before he was supposed to hit the stage at the Prudential Center, the *NSYNC member announced that he would have to postpone his concert due to an injury.
“I’m so sorry to postpone tonight’s show. I have an injury that is preventing me from performing,” he wrote. “I’m so disappointed to not see you all – but I’m working to reschedule ASAP.”

“I promise to make it up to you and give you the show y’all deserve,” he added. “Thank you guys for understanding. Appreciate your support always.”
It is unclear what sort of injury Timberlake sustained and when he’ll schedule the new show. (A rep for the singer did not immediately respond to Rolling Stone‘s request for comment.)
He’s set to continue his Forget Tomorrow World Tour in Philly on Friday and in D.C. on Sunday, with stops scheduled around the world through next summer.
This isn’t the first show Timberlake cancels on this run. Back in February he postponed a show in London after he was fighting off “some kind of bug.”
“This morning I woke up just feeling worse than ever,” he said in a video at the time. “All I can say is maybe next time when we come into town, I’ll be able to make it up to you and we can rock the Roundhouse one more time. But for now, I feel terrible. I hope none of you get this flu.”
