K-pop Group Le Sserafim Coordinate in Boho-inspired Looks for the 2024 MTV EMAs
Members of the K-pop group Le Sserafim hit the red carpet on Sunday for the 2024 MTV EMAs. The girl group, consisting of members Huh Yun-jin, Kim Chae-won, Kazuha, Sakura Miyawaki and Hong Eun-chae, styled one of the most popular trends remerging on the red carpet and the runway.
For the awards show, Le Sserafim members embraced boho style. Each chose a flowing dress or a blouse and skirt set in muted tones, complemented by earth-toned or black boots and clogs.

Statement jewelry, such as pendant necklaces and bold gold earrings, were used to complement each sartorial statement. While reflecting each member’s individual style sensibility, the looks collectively formed a unified sartorial statement with strong boho influences.
The boho trend isn’t just a red carpet phenomenon. Last October at Paris Fashion Week, a boho revival appeared on several runways. “The 1970s have come roaring back into fashion and Chemena Kamali continued to fuel the nostalgia with her second outing at Chloé,” WWD’s Alex Badia and Ari Stark reported on the runway trends from the spring 2025 collections showcased during Paris Fashion Week.
“Her billowing maxis, flared-jeans and bloomers were all hits with buyers who also loved Anthony Vaccarello’s archival Saint Laurent looks inspired by house muse and boho-beauty Loulou de la Falaise as well as Isabel Marant’s more contemporary festival-chic takes.”
Featuring relaxed silhouettes, earthy tones and an overall looser approach to style, the Boho aesthetic is making a comeback and return to the runway and red carpet. The popularization of the trend harkens back to the 1970s, with contemporary twists seen in designs showcased on the runway.
