K-Pop Star Park Boram Dies At 30 In Unexpected Circumstances
Popular K-pop star Park Boram, aged 30 has passed away as confirmed by multiple reports. According to various South Korean news outlets, the singer died unexpectedly on Thursday, 11th April in the afternoon, after a private night of drinking with friends. Reports suggest that she collapsed during a private gathering with friends and was rushed to the hospital.
The publication AllKpop stated, Park Boram was at a friend’s house with two friends when she went to the bathroom around 9:55 p.m. After a while, her friends found her unconscious, leaning over a sink. They immediately called for help and attempted CPR, but she was pronounced dead at Hanyang University Guri Hospital at 11:17 p.m. It’s reported that she was in cardiac arrest when found.
However, the police are currently investigating the cause of the singer’s death, and the exact reason for the death has yet to be unveiled to the public.
Park Boram’s Agency Issued A Statement On Her Death
Park Boram’s agency, Xanadu Entertainment, issued a statement on April 12, expressing deep sorrow and announcing that wake and funeral arrangements would be made in consultation with her family.”We are here to share sorrowful and heartbreaking news,” the statement reportedly read. “Park Bo Ram suddenly passed away late at night on April 11. All of the artists and executives at Xanadu Entertainment are deeply mourning the deceased with great sadness. It is even more heartbreaking that we have to tell you this sudden news to all of the fans who support Park Bo Ram. The funeral will be held after consulting with the bereaved’s family. Once again, we send our deepest condolences to the deceased so she may rest in peace.”
Park Boram rose to fame in 2010 after appearing on the singing competition series Superstar K2. Her official debut came in 2014 with the single “Beautiful,” which achieved significant success. She continued to make waves in the South Korean music scene with hits like “Celepretty,” “Sorry,” and “Dynamic Love.”
