Kaley Cuoco’s Daughter Tildy Helped Her Announce Some Big News in the Cutest New Family Photo

Kaley Cuoco and Tom Pelphrey have been keeping a secret — and their daughter Matilda “Tildy” just helped them spill the beans! The 16-month-old helped with the big announcement in new family photos, and we couldn’t be happier for the couple.

“Amazing weekend,” the Based on a True Story star wrote on her Instagram story today, sharing a picture taken on Saturday, Aug. 10. In the photo, she leans in close to Pelphrey, giving a big smile as she holds up her hand to reveal a huge diamond ring. They are officially engaged!

In the next photo, taken by photographer Claud Craig, Tildy helps announce the big news. The little girl was dressed in a black shirt and skirt as she walked hand-in-hand with her parents in the park. The Ozark star holds his daughter’s left hand, and The Big Bang Theory star holds Tildy’s right hand with her engagement ring blinking in the sun. All three are wearing matching black as they turn to look at the camera with wide eyes. It may be her parents’ exciting news, but Tildy absolutely steals the show with her cuteness!

Pelphrey also shared a photo from the shoot on his Instagram story today. In this one, the Love & Death star holds Tildy in his arms, leaning forward to rest his forehead on her and smile. Cuoco is glowing as she rests her ring finger on Pelphrey’s arm, smiling at the camera. And Tildy is in the center, absolutely hamming it up for the camera with her cute little dimples.

Cuoco and Pelphrey started dating in April 2022 and announced their pregnancy in October. Tildy was born in March 2023, and they already had her name picked out. In a Nov. 2023 interview with TODAY, Cuoco revealed that they heard someone call the name “Matilda” way back in their first week of dating.

“We looked at each other and it was like, ‘Would it be crazy to say if we had a baby we’d name her Matilda?’” Cuoco revealed in the interview. “You know when you first start dating and you’re so obsessed, and you’re planning your future children. It was that sort of thing.” Incredible, right?

Cuoco got pregnant a few months later, and it was basically fate. “When we got pregnant and we learned we were having a girl, we were like, ‘Oh my God — we have the name,” Cuoco said. “We actually kept her name a complete secret until she was born. And it’s so her. She such a Matilda.”

Now we are manifesting seeing Tildy all dressed up as a flower girl for her parent’s wedding. We know she’s going to be adorable!
