Kaley Cuoco Talks Peacock Show ‘Based on a True Story’ in Black PVC Mules on ‘The Tonight Show’

Kaley Cuoco sat down for an interview on “The Tonight Show” which aired yesterday on NBC. Cuoco spoke to host Jimmy Fallon about the second season of her Peacock show “Based on a True Story.”
For her talk show appearance, the “Meet Cute” star sported a pair of sleek black mules. The footwear pick was crafted of a high-shine PVC fabric and featured open pointed toes and a slip-on construction. 3 to 4-inch thin stiletto heels finished out the set.
The style is not unlike Tony Bianco’s Malibu peep-toe mules, also in black, which fellow actress Meghan Fox wore while holiday shopping with Revolve in Los Angeles. While mules are usually reserved for warmer weather, stars will wear the silhouette for formal occasions like red carpets or TV appearances.
Accompanying her high-shine mules, Cuoco donned a black short-sleeved midi dress in a boxy style hailing from Stella McCartney’s winter 2024 collection. Additionally, the thespian sported sparkling silver jewelry.
When it comes to footwear, Cuoco’s style ranges from slick to glamorous. The “Authors Anonymous” star is a self-professed shoe lover with an expansive collection to match — her favorites being Chanel boots and flats, as well as any footwear by Miu Miu. The actress also owns a variety of designer heels from the likes of Manolo Blahnik and Isabel Marant.
On the red carpet, Cuoco’s footwear ranges from femme to preppy, including Kate Spade New York loafers, Stuart Weitzman platform sandals and Christian Louboutin pumps. The actress’ off-duty style is more casual, encompassing styles including Longchamp sneakers, Havaianas flip flops, and Sergio Rossi flats.
“Based on a True Story” is a comedy thriller show that follows a real estate agent, a plumber and a former tennis star as they seize a unique opportunity to profit from America’s obsession with crime and sordid events.
