Kali Uchis Unveils ‘Orquídeas’ Track List Featuring Peso Pluma, Karol G, Rauw Alejandro
Kali Uchis released her third album, Red Moon in Venus, just seven short months ago, but she’s already gearing up to drop a new one. On Instagram on Monday, Oct. 9, the Colombian-American artist teased LP4, tentatively titled, Orquídeas (or “Orchids” in English). Still, the record itself won’t arrive until Jan. 12, 2024.
On Oct. 18, Uchis revealed the complete track list for the record through a photograph that displays the full list of songs tattooed across her back. The record will feature collaborations with Peso Pluma, Karol G, and Rauw Alejandro in addition to her previous team-up with El Alfa and JT.

The short teaser features a snippet of delightfully woozy new music, with atmospheric synths, rolling bass, and ethereal vocals punctuated by an infectious laugh. The video is set in a fantastical garden, where a person uses a remote to flip navigate an old TV. The screen first displays “Kali Uchis Album 4,” after which it jumps to a language selection screen; after “Espa?ol” is chosen, the screen flashes “Orquídeas.” The final shot reveals Uchis sitting on a mossy hill, remote in hand.
The only other tidbit Uchis shared was a short message in the caption, “a despertarse k YA SE VIENE…” (which translates to: “wake up because IT IS COMING…”).
It does seem very possible that Orquídeas (if that is the title) is the other album Uchis teased way back in spring 2022 when she hinted at her plans for this year. At the time, she wrote on Twitter, “My third album & the next are both finished, one is an English album one is a Spanish album ?what my kuchis want first?” Around the same time, she also told Billboard, “I have an album in Spanish and another one in English. A lot of my music is very Spanglish because that’s how I was raised and that style comes more naturally to me. But I’m ready to give it my all.”
Uchis released Red Moon in Venus back in March, with the album featuring a mix of English and Spanish-language songs. In August, she dropped a new single, “Mu?ekita,” featuring Dominican rapper El Alfa and JT from City Girls.
The album announcement comes just a few days after Uchis wrapped up her extensive 2023 touring schedule in support of Red Moon in Venus. The final run of shows included a sold-out gig at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, which featured special appearances from Omar Apollo and Tyler, the Creator.
