Kalki 2898 AD Second Trailer Release Date & Time

Only a week is left for the release of Prabhas‘ new film, Kalki 2898 AD. The movie was in production for years, and finally, its plot will be unveiled to the audience. As the release date is approaching, the makers are dropping more sneak peeks about the story. Furthermore, it has been reported that a second film trailer will be released shortly.

Directed by Nag Ashwin, Kalki 2898 AD is touted to be one of the most expensive Indian movies ever made. The director has confirmed that it is a mythological sci-fi film based on the events of the Mahabharata. He also called it a sequel to the great Hindu epic.

The movie’s first trailer confirmed that it will show the end of the Kali Yuga. It will also feature how evil is overpowering the world and has created a city named Complex with all the resources. However, only the wealthy are allowed on the Complex. Moreover, Ashwatthama breaks his centuries-long meditation as the world nears its end.

When will the Kalki 2898 AD second trailer be released?

Taking to his official Instagram handle, Prabhas shared a new movie poster yesterday featuring the star cast. Along with the picture, the actor also confirmed the release date and time of Kalki 2898 AD’s second trailer, which will be released on June 21, 2024, at 6 p.m. IST.

Aside from Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan play crucial roles in the movie. The ensemble cast also comprises Disha Patani, Kamal Haasan, Rajendra Prasad, Shobhana, Saswata Chatterjee, Brahmanandam, and Pasupathy. On the other hand, Keerthy Suresh gave Bujji, Bhairava’s AI assistant, the voice.

Kalki 2898 AD is set to hit the theaters on June 27, 2024.
