Kamala Harris Recycles Lilac Suit and Irene Neuwirth Pearls for Las Vegas Campaign Rally
Vice President Kamala Harris brought one of her pastel-hued suits back out of the closet on Saturday while attending a campaign rally in Las Vegas.
The Democratic nominee for president selected a lilac blazer with double flap pockets and peak lapels, pairing it with matching pleated straight-leg trousers. Underneath, Harris wore a round-neck white top layered with one of her favorite jewelry pieces — a pearl and gold chain necklace by Irene Neuwirth. Nude heels and pearl studs completed her look.

Harris previously wore the purple suit for an appearance on “The Jennifer Hudson Show” last spring. While on the talk show, Harris spoke with Hudson about gun violence in America, the overturning of Roe v. Wade and other topics, such as what she misses from before being elected.
Harris also opened up about her passion for cooking. “When I’m home, Sunday family dinner is a requisite. Sunday family dinner is my thing to stay focused and keep some normalcy. I am a very good cook and actually one day I’m going to write a cookbook. I’ve started to actually write my recipes,” she told host Jennifer Hudson.
Stars including Elle Fanning, Ariana Grande and Gigi Hadid have favored Irene Neuwirth jewels, but it was the Vice President who helped revive the designer’s business post-pandemic, according to the Wall Street Journal.
