Kamala Harris and Tim Walz casually knockoff Chappel Roan's Midwest Princess hat
Kamala Harris' Brat Summer has found it's counterpart.
On Tuesday, Harris officially named Tim Walz her running mate and the current Minnesota governor quickly took up the mantle of Harris' Midwest Prince — at least to the extremely online.
If this sounds like gibberish, let me explain.
Much like how Harris was instantly associated with pop star Charlie XCX after moving to the top of the democratic ticket, many on social media started tying Walz to the Chappel Roan album "The Rise And Fall Of A Midwest Princess" that continues to surge up the charts.
Why? Mostly because Walz is from the Midwest. Yes, it's that simple.
But almost as quickly as the memes arose, so too did the official merch.
One of the most popular pieces of Roan apparel this summer has been the camouflage "Midwest Princess" hat with orange lettering. Before Tuesday was over, the Harris-Walz campaign already had a knockoff for sale.
Whether they meant to lean into the Roan memes or this was just a happy coincidence became irrelevant the moment Roan tweeted about it herself.

Oh, it's very real.
"You asked, we answered," the Harris-Walz campaign wrote on its online store. "The most iconic political hat in America."
The Harris-Walz ticket is knee deep in the Gen-Z memes now, even if they're just trying to keep it casual.
