Kane Brown Hangs Out with Bullied Boy Who Wanted a Hug at His Denver Show: 'This Touched My Heart'
The country star was headlining a 40,000 capacity show in Denver when he shared the sweet moment with the young boy
Kane Brown is feeling sentimental.
Last week, the country singer-songwriter, 30, revealed that a young fan touched his heart during his 40,000-capacity show in Denver.
In the photos, Brown - who shares three children with his wife Katelyn - could be seen standing next to the boy, who held up a sign that read he was bullied for the color of his skin.
“Be yourself, don’t worry about others ?? but also try and be kind,” Brown wrote in his caption on Instagram as he shared another photo of him and the young boy. sharing a hug. “Treat others how you would wanna be treated ?? tonight was amazing Colorado but this touched my heart ????.”

“Bullied for the color of my skin,” the boy’s sign read. “I just want a hug.”
“I’m crying !!! This is my son and a very true story,” one person commented. “Thank you for an amazing show and an amazing experience that Keylan will never forget. His first concert and he met his hero. Thank you kane for all that you do, these kids have a good man, father, and husband to look up to.”
Another user added, “Core memory made! ???? way to go Kane????.”

Back in 2018, Kane opened up about discovering he was biracial at a young age and how people would make fun of his skin.
"I'm biracial; I didn't know that until I was 7 or 8 years old," he told PEOPLE at the time. "I thought I was full white, which honestly, I can't even really say because I didn't see colors."
He added, "I found out that I was biracial and I still wasn't thinking anything of it, but then I started getting called the N-word."
"I didn't even know what it meant," he continued. "I learned what it meant, and that's when it started affecting me. I got in fights over it when I was little."
Meanwhile, on Sept. 6, it was announced that Brown will be honored with the country champion award at the 2024 People's Choice Country Awards later this month.
The honor is set to be presented on Sept. 26 in Nashville.
